What: Philmont Scout Trek 12-day Trek
When: 8/01/2022 - 8/13/2022 (This is the trek dates. The flights will be before and after these dates)
Where: Cimmaron, NM
Cost: $2000 per person (This is a budget number that includes the 12-day trek (food included), flight, hotel, and car rental ONLY)
Troop 65 was awarded 12 spots in the 2022 Philmont lottery. There is a possibility to expand that number but we must first capture the interest. Here are a few need to knows in order to RSVP below.

- The scout attending must be a minimum of 14 years old OR 13 years old and completed the 8th grade by 8/1/2022.
- The scout must be First Class Rank or higher
- A non-refundable deposit of $150 per person attending is due 01/15/2021
- This deposit goes directly to Philmont Scout Ranch and they enforce the non-refundable rule.
- The scout leaders have met and believe the $2000 cost is a good budget number to adhere to.
- Your payment schedule for the trek is as follows (This is for the trek ONLY which has to be paid to Philmont by the troop. Cost is $1295 per person):
- $150 due 1/15/021
- $572.50 due 09/20/2021
- $572.50 due 2/21/2022
- The remaining cost will be collected as we get closer to booking flights, car rentals, and hotels; however, PLEASE BEGIN TO BUDGET NOW.
