WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR APR 14TH, 2025 TROOP MEETING MONDAY @ 7PM! Troop meetings resume on Monday even though CMS has the day off as the PLC voted to meet instead of missing Scouts for two straight weeks. In addition to patrol time working on advancements, we will also working on prep for this weekend's BBQ fundraiser! □□ PLC MEETING MONDAY @ 6PM! □□ Our next Patrol Leaders Council is Monday @ 6:00 pm and will plan our meetings for the month of May. Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders, Patrol Leaders and/or Assistant Patrol Leaders as well as Troop Guides and Scribe need to attend. Please email Mr. Hall if you cannot make it. OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS... SUBSCRIBE TO TROOP 65 CALENDAR HERE NEW TROOP BBQ FUNDRAISER APRIL 25 & 26 | AROUND MINT HILL We are set for our next BBQ fundraiser next weekend. We will be selling pulled pork, beans, slaw, Brunswick stew and banana pudding. This is one of the biggest fundraisers we have each year which helps pay for Troop gear, adult leaders registration fees and other major costs of the troop.   Below you can find a signup for shifts for Scouts and parents to work as well as the BBQ sales site to share with friends, family and more!. CLICK TO SIGNUP FOR A SHIFT TO WORK CLICK HERE FOR THE BBQ SALES SITE NEW BACKPACKING TRIP  MAY 16-18 | GRAYSON HIGHLANDS Our May trip is now set for a backpacking trip to Grayson Highlands in Virginia. We again are offering two different route options: Experienced Backpackers: 8.9-mile trip that will visit the top of Mt. Rogers Beginner Backpackers: 5.25-mile trip visiting Massie Gap & Pine Mountain Both trips will see (hopefully) Grayson Highlands famous wild horses. Both groups will share campsites on the trip. REMINDER 2025 Summer Camp MED FORMS DUE JUNE 1ST June 22-28th | Woodruff Scout Camp Merit Badges are set for Summer Camp. Mr. Krumbine worked hard to make sure everyone got as much as they wanted as possible, but there are situations that occur where a class might have been full when your merit badges were entered. Be sure to pay attention to emails in case this is the situation.   Our next two deadlines for camp will be for medical forms (parts A, B & C), which are due on June 1st. Final payment is due on June 6th. If you have not yet paid your previous payments, please do so ASAP.. You can make the payment via cash, check or PayPal (use the button below).   We also are planning an informational meeting for Summer Camp 2025 soon.
