WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR APR 7TH, 2025 TROOP MEETING MONDAY @ 7PM!  Uniform is Class A with Class B underneath! We do know there is a forecast of rain during the meeting. If it is raining, we will update everyone with an alternate meeting location at the church Also - we have new pricing from our vendor and will soon have an order form available for a new round of Class B items! OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS... SUBSCRIBE TO TROOP 65 CALENDAR HERE NEW TROOP BBQ FUNDRAISER APRIL 25 & 26 | AROUND MINT HILL We are set for our next BBQ fundraiser at the end of April. We will be selling pulled pork, beans, slaw, Brunswick stew and banana pudding. This is one of the biggest fundraisers we have each year which helps pay for Troop gear, adult leaders registration fees and other major costs of the troop.   We are working creating a signup for shifts for Scouts and parents to work and should have out later this week. HALL NEW BACKPACKING TRIP  MAY 16-18 | GRAYSON HIGHLANDS Our May trip is now set for a backpacking trip to Grayson Highlands in Virginia. We again are offering two different route options: Experienced Backpackers: 8.9-mile trip that will visit the top of Mt. Rogers Beginner Backpackers: 5.25-mile trip visiting Massie Gap & Pine Mountain Both trips will see (hopefully) Grayson Highlands famous wild horses. Both groups will share campsites on the trip. INFO & RSVP FOR MAY BACKPACKING TRIP REMINDER 2025 Summer Camp Merit Badge Selections Due June 22-28th | Woodruff Scout Camp Thank you to those who have already paid the second installment for summer camp. If you have not yet paid, please do so ASAP. The total for this payment is $150 per Scout. You can make the payment via cash, check or PayPal (use the button below).   We also have received 2025 merit badge information. As Mr. Krumbine's email noted last week, we need your Scout's merit badge selections soon. Please contact Mr. Krumbine with any questions!   We also are planning an informational meeting for Summer Camp 2025 soon.
