WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR AUG 18TH, 2025 TROOP MEETING MONDAY! Just a quick reminder that final Summer Troop meeting is Monday. We'll meet in Class B uniform from 7-8 pm at the Scout Hut. □ NEXT PLC IS MONDAY AT 6PM! □ Our next PLC is set for Monday at 6pm. We will be planning our meetings for all of September so it is important that Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders, Scribe, Patrol Leaders (or Assistant Patrol Leaders) and Troop Guides attend! SUBSCRIBE TO TROOP 65 CALENDAR HERE NEW ROCK CLIMBING TRIP ROCKY FACE REC AREA | SEPT 12-14 Our next camping trip will be a climbing trip during which our Scouts can climb real/natural rock walls! We'll be working the Mecklenburg County Council climbing team at Rocky Face Recreation area in Alexander County. There is no experience necessary and all of the climbing gear is provided.   Mr. Hall is aiming to have a signup available by Wednesday, August 20th. Whether you plan to run for an elected position or you are seeking an appointed position, the deadline to file is Sunday, August 24. This allows time to have your name added to the ballots for election on for the following Monday.   Just as in the spring, the first week of elections will feature ballots for Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader only.
