The annual Scouting Christmas Party, hosted by the Pack, is set for  December 15 in the Kerr Building. Stay tuned for more details, such as timing, food and charity we will support. SUBSCRIBE TO TROOP 65 CALENDAR HERE CLICK HERE TO HELP WITH THE FLOAT AND JOIN IN THE PARADE REMINDER MINT HILL CHRISTMAS PARADE  FLOAT BUILD NIGHT | FRI, DEC 5TH | 7-9 PM PARADE | SAT, DEC 6TH | 4:30-6:30 PM For the 6th consecutive year, Troop 65 and Pack 65 are teaming up to walk in the Mint Hill Christmas Parade. We will be hosting a Deckin' The Float build night on the evening of Friday, December 5th.The parade steps off the next day, December 6th at 5:30 pm.   Don't want to walk? NEW SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY: CHRISTMAS TREE SANTAS SAT, DEC 6TH | 8AM - NOON GRIFFIN MASONRY | MINT HILL, NC Former PPC Pastor Katie Sloan is again looking for volunteers to assist with the Christmas Trees Santas organization. This non-profit provides a tree, lights and decorations for families in need. This event qualifies for service hours.   If you are interest in helping, please click the button to sign up! CLICK HERE TO VOLUNTEER WITH CHRISTMAS TREE SANTAS NEW MERIT BADGE CAMPOUT BELK SCOUT CAMP | DEC 12-14 For our December camping trip, we will be holding our own troop merit badge weekend at Belk Scout camp. We will offer a morning and afternoon session so scouts can hopefully earn two merit badges or at least accomplish significant work on them.   We are still finalizing which merit badges we will offer, but you can weigh in with your opinion by voting below on the list the PLC suggested. CLICK HERE TO VOTE ON MERIT BADGES OFFERED CLICK HERE TO RSVP FOR MERIT BADGE CAMPOUT NEW 2026 TROOP SKI TRIP WINTERPLACE RESORT |GHENT, WV FEB 27TH - MAR 1ST It's that time of year for the Troop 65 Ski Trip! For 2026, we will be heading to Winterplace Ski Resort in Ghent, WV.    Lodging this year will be at a slopeside lodge, Snow Lodge at Winterplace, a three-story house that sleeps 30. Breakfast and dinner will be cooked at the house by the adults. Lunch will be self-serve by returning to the house during the day (it is a ski in, ski out setup). This lodging setup will allow everyone to maximize their lift tickets, which are good for 12 hours.   There are multiple options below that exist on the RSVP so please be careful when choosing to ensure you are selecting exactly what you need for this trip. Please note, there is now a full-day tubing option.   Also, family members are also invited to come take part on this trip, but will be required to arrange their own lodging due to BSA policy that only registered Scouts or Scout Leaders may stay with the troop.    If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Hall!
