SUBSCRIBE TO TROOP 65 CALENDAR HERE NEW SERVICE OPPORTUNITY MEMORIAL DAY FLAG CEREMONY MAY 24 | EVERGREEN CEMETERY Next Saturday, Scouts in Mecklenburg County Council have an opportunity to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by helping place more than 2,000 flags on the graves of our fallen service members at Evergreen Cemetery and Elmwood|Pine Cemetery in Charlotte.   The ceremony begins at 8:30 am with a gathering around the flagpole located at the Veteran's Rest Fountain at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205.   After the ceremony, each unit will be assigned  a particular division of each cemetery.    The event will end when each unit has completed their assignment, which is no later than noon on Saturday.   Please click the button below to email Mr. Hall if you would like to attend so he can coordinate an entry for our Troop INTERESTED IN HELPING? REMINDER 2025 Summer Camp MED FORMS DUE JUNE 1ST June 22-28th | Woodruff Scout Camp Merit Badges are set for Summer Camp. Mr. Krumbine worked hard to make sure everyone got as much as they wanted as possible, but there are situations that occur where a class might have been full when your merit badges were entered. Be sure to pay attention to emails in case this is the situation.   Our next two deadlines for camp will be for medical forms (parts A, B & C), which are due on June 1st. Final payment is due on June 6th. If you have not yet paid your previous payments, please do so ASAP.. You can make the payment via cash, check or PayPal (use the button below).   We also are planning an informational meeting for Summer Camp 2025 soon.
