REMINDER! PACK 65 / TROOP 65 / CREW 1465 CHRISTMAS PARTY TOMORROW @ 7PM!

Come dressed in your favorite holiday attire! This year Pack 65 is coordinating a toy drive for Western NC. See the graphic below for items in need. Each family is also asked to please bring a savory snack or sweet to share. 

If you have not already done so, please RSVP at the button below so the Pack knows how many to expect.

Reminder for Senior Patrol Leader, Asst Senior Patrol Leaders, Patrol Leaders and/or Asst Patrol Leaders, Den Chiefs and Scribe that our next PLC is tomorrow at 6:00 pm. No need for uniform with the Christmas Party immediately after.

New PPC Cemetery Cleanup

Second Date Coming in January

Thank you to all who came out a Saturday to help with the cemetery cleanup. Everyone worked hard and accomplished a lot. However, we still have a few hours of work to complete due to the complexity of the cleanup with the neighborhood next door to the cemetery. We are working on coordinating a second date in January and hope to soon have that available.

June 22-28th | Woodruff Scout Camp

We are now reserved for Summer Camp 2025! If you have yet to RSVP, please know you can still RSVP and make your initial $20 deposit. Just click the link below to sign up to attend! Note - this deposit is refundable until February 1st.

For our 2025 Summer Camp, we are headed to Woodruff Scout Camp in Blairsville, GA (near GA, NC and TN border)! We already have details about the camp ready for you to review - just click the button below!

Counselor lists are now available!

Scoutbook only gives registered leaders access to the Merit Badge Counselor lists. However, in an effort to make it easier for everyone, we created this website listing all merit badges with Eagle required highlighted in blue

Don't forget the proper procedure:

• Choose which merit badge you would like to earn
• Contact the counselor
• Speak to Mr. Hall about pursuing this merit badge and obtain a blue card!

New PPC Cemetery Cleanup

Saturday, Dec. 14th | 12:30-5:00 pm

As was mentioned at Monday's meeting, we need to move the Annual Church Cemetery Cleanup to Saturday, Dec. 14th due to availability of the vacuum truck to remove the leaves at the Queen's Grant Cemetery. This means we will reschedule the merit badge weekend until early 2025.

Note: due to forecast temps in the 20s next Saturday, we will start the cleanup at 12:30 pm. Please click the button below for full details and to sign up!

Reminder AutoBell Fundraiser

Orders due to Mrs. Adams by MONDAY

Help support Troop 65 and earn $$$ for your scout account by selling AutoBell Giftcards! Mrs. Adams has coordinated with AutoBell to allow Scouts to sell $20 gift cards sell with 50% of the proceeds going to the Troop. Out of that $10 per card sold, $7 will go to the Troop, and while $3 goes to your Scout account for recharter or trips. Gift cards can be used at any participating Autobell and never expire. These make great for holiday gifts or to use for yourself throughout the year!

Please note, final sales numbers are due tomorrow, Monday December 9, with delivery by Monday December 16th. You can sell cards via a pre-sale form you can obtain from Mrs. Adams or via our online sales site. Click the buttons below for whichever option you prefer!

REMINDER! TROOP MEETING ON MONDAY AT 7:00 PM!

With temperatures expected to be near freezing during the meeting, we will meet inside at the Manse of the church (the house next door on Bain School Rd). Please still drop your Scout at the Scout Hut so we can get materials needed for the meeting hauled to Manse. You will also pick them up outside the Scout Hut after the meeting as well.

New Mint Hill Christmas Parade

Build Night: Fri, Dec 6th | 7 - 9 pm

Parade: Sat, Dec 7th | 4:30-6:30 pm

For the 5th consecutive year, Troop 65 and Pack 65 are teaming up to walk in the Mint Hill Christmas Parade. We will be hosting a Deckin The Float build night on the evening of Friday, December 6th.The parade steps off the next day, December 7th at 5:30 pm.
