Troop 65 is Scouts BSA Troop based in Mint Hill, NC, chartered by Philadelphia Presbyterian Church.  
For the past 80+ years, Troop 65 has taught youth outdoor, life and leadership skills while serving the Mint Hill community

What We Do

Through our weekly Monday meetings to our monthly camping trips and outings, to summer camp and high-adventure experiences, Troop 65 aims to teach boys the necessary life skills and outdoor know-how while enabling the youth to embrace and grow their leadership abilities to be the next leaders of our community, state, nation, businesses and wold!

More about Troop 65

Troop 65 is a patrol based, boy-led Troop, which strives to teach the principles of scouting with key focus on the Scout Law and Scout Oath.  We accomplish and learn through many activities including merit badges, scout outings, rank advancement, community service, summer camp and more.

Currently Troop 65 is over 50 boys strong who are aided by adult scouters, the "Old Fossil" patrol, as well as an active Committee, comprised of numerous parents and adults.

Troop 65 is affiliated with Cub Pack 65, also sponsored by Philadelphia Presbyterian Church.  Troop 65 has been the beneficiary of numerous scouts from Pack 65 and is working in close alignment with the pack to ensure a successful scout program for all!!
We at Troop 65 feel that Scouting offers something for our community's youth and gives back through many ways and acts.  We are proud to share our story and our mission!!
